During the last year or so, the Higher Education Cluster has been finalizing the reorganization process of the structures of offices. On 29 November 2024, I issued HE Memo#Y2.74 titled “Reorganization of Undergraduate Education Support Offices.” I will be sending out information on the other reorganized offices as soon as such information is cleared from different units for official release.
This time, let’s focus on the Office of the University Registrar (OUR), under the leadership of the University Registrar, Dr Marlene M De Leon. The OUR takes overall responsibility for the core functions related to registration processes and evaluating of academic records for all the Higher Education students comprising the nine (9) schools.
MANDATE OF THE OFFICE OF THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR

In light of the integration of the higher education schools, the organizational structure of the Office of the University Registrar is amended as follows:
THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

I thank Dr MM De Leon and her team for working through the details of this process of reorganization. It entailed a lot of consultation, especially with ASMPH, Ateneo Law, AGSB, and ASOG, given the unique set up that these schools have with their own processes. We also acknowledge the help of Ms Jenny See, Director of the University People, Team, and Organization Development Office under the Office of the VP for Human Resources.
I ask everyone in our community to support the efforts of the Office of the University Registrar in assisting the schools in improving our registration processes and in making sure that student records are well cared for and safe.
