New leadership positions (Memo No. AGSB-OD-2425-026)

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Leveric Ng will assume the position of Chair of the Department of Strategy and Marketing Management starting today. Dr. Ng started teaching at AGSB in 2015 and has since conducted 88 classes, including 32 for Strategic Management. Lev received his Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the De La Salle University Manila, Master in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, and Bachelor of Science in Commerce – Marketing Major from the De La Salle University. He has over thirty-five years of working experience in both board and non-board positions in the manufacturing, retail, airline and hotel industries.

 Prof. Gilda Del Rosario will be stepping down as Chair of the Department to formally head the newly formed Quality Assurance group of AGSB. Under Gilda's leadership, AGSB successfully gained our Certificate of Accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). Joining Gilda in the AGSB QA Group are Prof. Mennen Aracid and Prof. Bim Mercado, with Prof. Gemmy Lontoc providing advice. They have started our campaign to attain program assessment by the regional body ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUNQA). 

 Amidst these changes, we recognize the continuing leadership of Prof. Ana Bess Pingol, Dr. Mars Balgos, and Prof. Ralph Ante of their respective Departments throughout this era of multiple changes, from pre-pandemic to pandemic to the new normal.
