Renewal of Autonomous Status of Ateneo de Manila University
As announced last week through our website, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No 7, series of 2024 renewed the autonomous status of Ateneo de Manila University with a validity period of three (3) years from 16 September 2024 to 15 September 2027. Philippine universities with autonomous status are accorded certain benefits and privileges by CHED as outlined in CMO No 6, series of 2023.
On behalf of Ateneo de Manila University, I wish to congratulate the Higher Education community and thank all our students, faculty, administrators, professionals, and staff who have worked hard and contributed to the renewal of our autonomous status.
May this achievement continue to inspire us to continue to be a force for good in the service of our nation.
