I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Andrei Coronel, Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS), will be taking on the pivotal role of Lead Coordinator for Open and Distance Education Learning (ODeL) for Graduate Education, effective August 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
As Lead Coordinator, Dr. Coronel will collaborate closely with me to drive transformative initiatives in our graduate programs. He will play a key role in crafting and refining policies to propel ODeL forward and will help design a robust organizational structure to ensure successful implementation. His responsibilities will also include collecting and analyzing data from stakeholders, benchmarking industry best practices, and assessing necessary resources.
Dr. Coronel's extensive expertise in education and technology, combined with his proven track record in academic leadership, positions him perfectly to make a significant impact in advancing our ODeL efforts.
ODeL is a cornerstone of our 3-year strategic plan for Graduate Education, and Dr. Coronel’s leadership will be crucial to our success.
