Work Arrangements on 20 November 2023
In anticipation of the effects of the planned transport strike commencing on Monday, 20 November 2023, that could make it difficult for commuters to go about their travels to and from work, special work arrangements are extended to employees reporting to the Loyola campus. Employees who cannot report onsite to the Loyola campus:
1. may work from home after seeking permission from their office head; or
2. file their emergency leave with express approval from their supervisor, if their work cannot be performed from home.
Employees from the School of Government, School of Medicine and Public Health, Law School, and Graduate School of Business shall follow the directions on work arrangements provided by their respective deans.
We shall monitor the situation on the first day of the transport strike and make an announcement on Monday afternoon for work arrangements on Tuesday, 21 November, if needed.
Please be guided accordingly.
