Holiday for the University on 31 October 2023 (Memo U2324-063)

In view of Malacañang’s announcement of the upcoming additional special (non-working) day on 30 October 2023 (Monday) for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections¹, I am declaring Tuesday, 31 October 2023, a University holiday. As such, classes and work both onsite and online, will be suspended on this day.

The long break from classes and work is meant to allow members of our community to participate in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on 30 October 2023, and commemorate in solemn remembrance the saints, and our dearly departed during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day².  

Regular University operations will resume on Friday, 3 November 2023.
