A MINUTE OF SILENCE and MEMORIAL MASS, 21 March 2023
“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
Greetings of a good day!
Tomorrow, Tuesday 21 March, we hold the program, Talakayang Alay sa Bayan (TALAB).
As part of this event, on the initiative of the Ateneo College Ministry Group, the Loyola Schools will observe a minute of silence at high noon to honor those who have died during this COVID-19 pandemic. There will be a call to silence on the PA system. Following this minute of silence is the holy sacrifice of the mass (12.05 pm) at the Immaculate Conception chapel.
I would like to invite the Loyola Schools community to take part in this solemn and warm remembrance of those who went before us by offering this minute of silence and celebrating the Eucharist. We hope to provide a space for the Loyola Schools community to remember and pray for our beloved dead and for the repose of the souls and salvation of those who have died during this pandemic, as we move forward and continue to lead good Christian lives. May perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
