New Head of the Office for Food Safety and Quality Assurance

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jerome Michael A Montaner as the Head of the Office for Food Safety and Quality Assurance (OFSQA) effective 25 August 2022.

Jerome brings to us over ten (10) years of experience in quality assurance in both the food processing and the food service sectors. His most recent position was as Quality Assurance Manager for one of the best-known fast casual restaurant chains in the country.

On behalf of the Ateneo, I would like to thank Jerome for accepting this role that is so critical to our goal of ensuring a healthy university community. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Maria Kristal T Garcia for serving as Officer-in-charge of the OFSQA since 1 May 2022. She selflessly accepted a lot of additional responsibility as we undertook our search for a permanent leader for this office.

Let us all warmly welcome Jerome to our Ateneo community, and extend to him our usual support and cooperation.
