New Director of the University Business Affairs Office (OVPA Memo)

New Director of the University Business Affairs Office

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Victor Emmanuel “Bambi” S Claravall as the Director of the University Business Affairs Office (UBAO) effective 8 August 2022.

Mr. Claravall is no stranger to the Ateneo community. He is an alumnus of both our High School (‘90) and our College (AB Economics ‘94). He used to be a faculty member of the Mathematics Department of the Ateneo High School and is currently a Trustee of both the Ateneo Scholarship Foundation and the Ateneo Alumni Scholars Association (of which he is past President).

He brings to this new role over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience and is uniquely qualified to lead an office that is tasked to leverage our physical assets, intellectual property, and trademarks to generate non-tuition revenue for the University.

On behalf of the University, I would like to thank Mr Claravall for accepting the position of Director of this re-imagined University Business Affairs Office. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Fernando “Dojo” J Sison III for his leadership of UBAO since 2013.

Let us all warmly welcome Bambi to the Ateneo community, and extend to him our usual support.
