Renaming of the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Information Systems (Memo U2223-015)

With the appointment of the new Chief Information Officer & Vice President for Digital and Information Technology Services (CIO & VP-DITS), the oversight of all information systems and IT-related support services is now integrated under the CIO & VP-DITS.

In this connection, I wish to inform the University community that the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Information Systems (VP-AIS) will now be known as the Office of the Vice President for Administration (VP-A).

Mr Rodolfo P Ang will continue to head this cluster as Vice President for Administration, and will continue to oversee the following offices:

1. Campus Safety and Mobility Office
2. Central Facilities Management Office
3. Office of Food Safety and Quality Assurance
4. Office of the Vice President for Administration
5. University Archives

In addition, the following will now also be part of the VP-A cluster:

1. University Business Affairs Office (UBAO) – to be transferred from VPFT
2. University Residence Halls (URH) – a new office that will consolidate the operations of all residence halls on campus, including Cervini and Eliazo Halls, the University Dorms, the International Residence Hall, Single Faculty Housing and the guest rooms at the Pollock Renewal Center.
