SUBJECT: Practicum/Internships for the Intersession of SY 2022-2O23
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Given the current COVID 19 situation and with continuing due regard to the health and safety of our students and our external partners, only online and in-campus internships will be allowed for all students of the Loyola Schools, both graduate and undergraduate, for the Intersession of SY 2022-2023.
Students who are required to enroll for practicum should still enroll for their practicum courses but practicum coordinators of various departments and programs have been asked to come up with alternative designs for this course. These alternative designs may include in-campus internships, work-from-home arrangements with practicum sites, explorations of careers in various fields, and/or group projects that simulate the working environment. The practicum/ internship coordinators will get in touch with the students in their degree program about the arrangements.
We continue to hope that the situation improves further as we move forward.
